Karaoke for Kitties II -- back by popular demand!

Sheltara Humane Society, Inc. - A Pamela Bratsos Armstrong Memorial, is holding another Karaoke contest fundraiser for 2003. People can sponsor their family and friends to sing (or not!), similar to sponsoring the participant of a Walkathon. Karaoke DJ, Gail Trull Kneeland of Trull-la-la Karaoke has once again graciously volunteered her services for the event. Amvets Post #9 in Randolph is providing the location. Proceeds will benefit homeless animals at our shelter and support the Pamela Bratsos Armstrong Memorial Scholarship. The fundraiser will be held from 7:00 - 8:30 pm at Amvet Post #9, (off of Pleasant Street) in Randolph on Thursday, August 21th, 2003. All are welcome to stay for Gail?s Karaoke show at 8:30 ? which was quite a blast last year! (Children included until 8:00). Get your sponsor sheet in early to reserve your spot at the mike or just come and enjoy the show. To participate or sponsor a singer - visit our web site www.sheltara.org and download a sponsor sheet.

The Santa Paws Fund Raiser

Put $10.00 under our Catnip tree, and our shelter cats will gift you with a cat ornament to add to your holiday decor. Your ornament will frame the photo of one of our shelter cats, which your contribution will help support in the upcoming year. We hope to have the ornaments available at Karaoke for Kitties II and The Pet Rock Festival, for you folks that plan ahead or click on our "join us" link to send for one.

I need to give up Autumn because I am becoming homeless myself as of 5/26/03.

Autumn is a 3 year old Orange Tiger altered female that weighs about 7 lbs. She is healthy and loves people. She likes to play, look out the window, sleep, climb into empty cardboard boxes and lay in your lap (normal kitty stuff). She also loves her scratching post and doesn't touch furniture or rugs. She lives with an 8 year old female (Chocolate) which she likes to play with. She is an indoor/outdoor kitty. We live on a busy highway and she stays in the yard. They will be boarded for the next three to six months at Mercy for Cats at which time I will bring them to my new home. However, if a good home can be found for the two of them they should be adopted together. However, I should be given first option to take them back.

Food: Purina or Friskies dry cat chow (not fussy)
Shots: Current
Vet: VCA South Shore Veterinary Hospital
Health: Excellent
Sex: Female
Spayed: Yes
Breed: Tiger (is that a breed?)
Color: Orange/White
Age: 3 years
Declawed: No
Personality: Very outgoing, she is the first to greet everyone.
Favorite Activity: Laying in your lap, whapping you off the top of your head

Please find a good home for these lovely cats.

Thank you,
Jack

Thank you!

We are growing!

Sheltara - A Pamela Bratsos Armstrong Memorial is working to support Cat Haven and Mercy for Cats. This collaboration has greatly increased our staff of volunteers and has added a wonderful shelter structure to our organization. Although our new friends work with cats, we will still be working with dogs and other animals in need.
