Here are some cute pictures of Moses and Naomi, which our volunteer Kathy fostered this summer. Here they are watching birds out of her sewing room window, then snuggling, and then alone relaxing.

Hi we wanted to email wendy and michelle we wanted them to see that their hard work paid off. Steve and I have renamed the kittens Samone and Simone. It only took them less than 24 hrs to over come their shyness. now they rule the house. She even beats up on him! Neither one of them hide when they came home. We all just want to say thank you and we will send more pictures of how big and cute they are. We can't wait to see you on Sept 20.

thank you

Marybeth & Steve

Dolce

Just wanted to let you know that Dolce is doing great. We love him dearly and he has become very attached to the family and all our other dogs and even tries to play with our cat. He sleeps with our son Michael on the night I am at work... he has settled right in.

Mittens (aka Badger)

I adopted "Mittens" aka "Badger" on 12/11/05 just wanted to let you know that she is doing wonderful and has been recently spayed. I know when I adopted her that when she got spayed that I could recoup some of the adoption fee. I would like you to use it to help other cats in need and want you to know that I got the most wonderful cat from you. I have attached the paperwork that I have received from both you and the spay waggon. Thanks again.

Sincerely, Linda

Smokey

Hi Wendy,

Sorry it took us so long to send you an update. Smokey is doing great - it was tough to get to her sit still, but we were able to get a few pictures which I attached to the email. As expected, she was very shy for the first couple of days, but then she quickly started to feel very comfortable with us and in the apartment. She hasn't been here long, but she's already acting as though she's in charge, probably because she is so spoiled. We love having her here - thank you again for helping us get her.

Hello Wendy & Michelle

Gus

Hi Wendy

I just wanted to thank you for the medicine and the records for Gus. He is doing very well, adjusting nicely! I have attached a couple of photo's for you, maybe one can go with the others in the "adopted" group!

If you ever want to come by and visit him, let me know.

Thanks again!

Lori

Bella (A.K.A. Shawna)

I just had to snap a picture of Bella (aka Shawna to all you sheltara folks!) in her new favorite resting spot!!

Gosh she is just too cute!!

Snowball

Hello -
This is Cheryl Cronin Messier. I adopted Snowball last October. Just dropping a note to let you know he is still beautiful, and doing wonderfully in our home. We recently adopted an American Eskimo puppy as well. They are both white, a year apart in age and getting along wonderfully. My son, now 3, is in Heaven with his new "siblings"!!

I gave my name to a cashier in Stop and Shop who I have seen frequently. She was looking to adopt a cat/kitten. I hope she contacted you. I gave her all your info and my name. I really hope she has gotten through to you. She'd make a great "Mom" to one of the babies out there!

I was just trying to upload a cute pic I have of Snowball, Buddy & Joey. But my skills are somewhat inadequate with my new digital camera. As soon as I figure this all out, I'll email you a picture to have to show for the Sheltera Humane Society.

Hope all is well!

Hugs from,
Cheryl, Joey & Snowball

Diane ,

Thanks,   The new kitty is really working out well, My children love him as well as he loves them.  He is a very vocal cat..

Oreo
Oreo is around 1 year old neutered male who is very friendly, enjoys being around people, and loves to be petted. He likes lots of attention. Oreo started to come by a house three months ago for food. After being neutered, he lets us pet him when he is feed. He is now living in a backyard. Oreo is up to date on shots.
Help make Oreo's story a happy ending. Oreo is in need of a good home ASAP.

Here are some of the cats from small, private shelters that we support:

In memory of Beetle Baily:

This is Tippy.
He was abandoned on the side of a highway, but he's found a wonderful home now.

RE: Bugsy
Could you please see that Wendy gets to see these pictures of Bugsy? He is a very sweet kitty. He is eating like a horse. He's still a little gun-shy from the abuse at his last home, but he is getting better about it every day. He doesn't shy away from us much at all, although you can tell he still remembers his treatment there. He and Bella chase each other up and down the stairs and share the bed for their naps.
Thanks

Kim H

Juju
Poor Juju is all grown up now... but back at the doctors again. Sheltara Humane is helping her adoptive family pay the expensive vet bills.

Chloe

Chloe is a grey and white spayed female. She is about 2 years old and rather shy. Chloe is a special needs kitty. She was an injured stray (she had blunt trauma to the right side of her face) but she loves attention. Chloe is fine, but her injury has left her with a 'winky' eye (one eye winks). Chloe is a sweetheart and quickly coming out of her shell and into her own personality.

Chloe is waiting for a sponsor.

Sugar -"Sassy Girl"

Sugar is elderly and has re-occurring urinary tract problems. Joanie Wiinblad is kind enough to lend a hand with the sponsorship of Sugar.

Sugar sponsored since 2005 by Joanie Wiinblad
Sugar sponsored in 2003 by M. Johnson of Grapeview, WA
