Letters (and pictures) from the adopters of the lucky cats.

Dolce

Just wanted to let you know that Dolce is doing great. We love him dearly and he has become very attached to the family and all our other dogs and even tries to play with our cat. He sleeps with our son Michael on the night I am at work... he has settled right in.
Barbara
Mittens (aka Badger)
I adopted "Mittens" aka "Badger" on 12/11/05 just wanted to let you know that she is doing wonderful and has been recently spayed. I know when I adopted her that when she got spayed that I could recoup some of the adoption fee. I would like you to use it to help other cats in need and want you to know that I got the most wonderful cat from you. I have attached the paperwork that I have received from both you and the spay waggon. Thanks again.
Sincerely, Linda
Smokey
Hi Wendy,
Sorry it took us so long to send you an update.
Smokey is doing great -
it was tough to get to her sit still, but we were
able to get a few
pictures which I attached to the email.
As expected, she was very shy for
the first couple of days, but then she quickly started to feel very
comfortable with us and in the apartment. She hasn't been here long,
but she's already acting as though she's in charge, probably because she
is so
spoiled. We love having her here - thank you again for helping us get her.

Cash and Oreo
Hello Wendy & Michelle
Hi we wanted to email wendy and michelle we wanted them to see that their hard work paid off. Steve and I have renamed the kittens Samone and Simone. It only took them less than 24 hrs to over come their shyness. now they rule the house. She even beats up on him! Neither one of them hide when they came home. We all just want to say thank you and we will send more pictures of how big and cute they are. We can't wait to see you on Sept 20.
thank you Marybeth & Steve
Gus
Hi Wendy
I just wanted to thank you for the medicine and the records for Gus.
He is doing very well, adjusting nicely! I have attached a couple of
photo's for you, maybe one can go with the others in the "adopted"
group!
If you ever want to come by and visit him, let me know.
Thanks again!
Lori

Bella (A.K.A. Shawna)
I just had to snap a picture of Bella (aka Shawna to all you sheltara
folks!) in her new favorite resting spot!!
Gosh she is just too cute!!
~Michelle :)

Snowball
Hello -
This is Cheryl Cronin Messier. I adopted Snowball last October. Just
dropping a note to let you know he is still beautiful, and doing
wonderfully in our home. We recently adopted an American Eskimo puppy as
well. They are both white, a year apart in age and getting along
wonderfully. My son, now 3, is in Heaven with his new
"siblings"!!
I gave my name to a cashier in Stop and Shop who I have seen
frequently. She was looking to adopt a cat/kitten. I hope she contacted
you. I gave her all your info and my name. I really hope she has gotten
through to you. She'd make a great "Mom" to one of the babies
out there!
I was just trying to upload a cute pic I have of Snowball, Buddy &
Joey. But my skills are somewhat inadequate with my new digital camera.
As soon as I figure this all out, I'll email you a picture to have to
show for the Sheltera Humane Society.
Hope all is well!
Hugs from,
Cheryl, Joey & Snowball
Diane ,
Thanks, The new kitty is really working out well, My children
love him as well as he loves them. He is a very vocal cat..
