Mercy for Cats
A message from the President of Mercy for Cats, Judith Mayer.
Good news for the New Year concerning Mercy for Cats!
We are merging with two other shelters. Cat Haven and Sheltara-A Pamela
Bratsos Armstrong Memorial are joining our
team. I am so grateful to all my faithful volunteers who are loyal and
hardworking, always on time, always dependable.
Without you, I truly would have quit. God sees each sparrow that falls,
and those that save them. Bless you all in the
coming new year and please stay with us in this important work.

What Mercy for Cats does:
Provides a wonderful shelter structure to give homeless animals
haven.
Sponsors a Small Dog Rescue program in Puerto Rico.
Homeless dogs are transported from Puerto Rico, nursed back to
health
and put up for adoption.
Sponsors a trap/alter/release program for homeless and feral cats
Jean Paul Sullivan and his "Lakota Kids".
As often as possible, Paul Sullivan collects a tractor trailer load of
donated goods and drives
it to the Lakota Indian Reservation in South Dakota.
The contributors to the Pamela Bratsos Armstrong Memorial collected and
donated gently used
clothing, baby supplies, canned goods, blankets, children's toys and
Christmas gifts to add
to Paul's truckload. Judy Shaw worked with B.J. Wholesale Club to insure
that the cats and
dogs on the reservation received some supplies. Long time supporters of
the P.B.A. trust - the Havendars, the Craigs,
the Sheas, the Haggerty's (Moochie's parents), Meredith Day, the Griecos,
the Penhalluricks, the Grants
and the Shaws of Framingham also did a great job of rounding up cat and dog
goods.
Thanks to all our friends that helped.
